The free sliding rings of the loose ring snaffle allow the horse to adjust the position of the bit in his mouth.

This tends to cause the horse to relax his jaw and chew the bit, encouraging the horse to accept the bit.

When the reins are taken, the rings move so that the bit is automatically positioned correctly.

The double snaffle provides great comfort for the horse thanks to the olive-shaped centre part and the small joints.

This ensures that the mouthpiece sits comfortably in the horse's mouth.

The horse naturally accepts the bit better.

No painful pressure on the palate and no nutcracker effect.

Even distribution of pressure from the rein in the horse's mouth.

Facilitates communication between horse and rider.

The edges of the ring holes on Stubben STEELtec bits have rounded edges, minimising the risk of pinching.

*Ring diameter: 65 mm (115 cm/125 cm) or 70 mm (135 cm)

*Barrel thickness: 12 mm (115 cm/125 cm) or 16 mm (135 cm)
